Viva Glam Gaga vs Saint Germain

So what IS the difference between Saint Gaga and Lady Germain? ;) Well let's go over the pigmentation and formula first. Gaga (on the left) is a Lustre. Lustres are a bit lighter on the pigmentation with a glossy finish. Not sheer but definitely sheerer than an Amplified which is the most pigmented formula of them all. Saint Germain (on the right) is an Amplified. With Amplified you basically get the color in the tube with one swipe. So if you have Saint Germain and you're wondering if you need Viva Glam Gaga lets take a look at how they swatch. Gaga has a slightly lighter, warmer undertone and Germain has a cooler, more lavender undertone. Personally I prefer Gaga over Germain but I had to buy both anyway... and of course I wear neither. I mean on occasion I'll try but neither color suits me very well.

Now lets see Viva Glam Gaga, Saint Germain and Snob together.

Snob is on the far right. Snob is a Satin which is a dryer formula similar to a Matte but not quite. When compared with the others, Snob's lilac undertone is very noticeable. All of these lipsticks are lovely but are not very wearable for most of us. Not to worry, with a little work any of these can easily be toned down with a lip gloss or another lipstick.
