NYX Aqua has the same wonderful buttery texture as most of their other eyeshadows. However, both the name and the appearance can be quite deceiving. NYX Aqua is not Aqua colored at all.
That is obvious of course when you see it in person. It looks to be a smokey steel blue. I purchased it thinking I was getting a steel blue... but it isn't. Unfortunately, it is a much more plain shade of medium blue shimmer. Sad because it looks much more interesting and special in the pan. I will find a use for it but will not repurchase.
