Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

If you have never visited the Rasmussen site, you are missing out. I doubt you can even a imagine a poll they haven't done. I try to visit them a couple of times a week just to keep up with the latest data. Check them out at the link below.

By the way, obama's numbers are tanking again. I wonder if it could be related to the fact that as the world and our economy fall apart he continues to play golf and party like it's 1999. What an asshole...

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 20% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 (see trends).

Only 39% of Democrats Strongly Approve while 72% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 16% Strongly Approve and 39% Strongly Disapprove.

Public employee union members are more hostile to Republicans than private sector union workers.

Just 27% believe the bailouts were good for the United States. Fifty-seven percent (57%) believe they were bad.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. That’s just one point above the lowest level of approval ever recorded for this president. Fifty-six percent (56%) now disapprove of his performance.

Forty-five percent (45%) of Americans have not yet filed their income tax returns.
